Have you ever wondered why 2,000 cities in the earth are experiencing transformation, yet not one is a Western nation? Part of the answer is, we don't know how to humble ourselves in response to God when He speaks.  As A.W. Tozer said, “Prayer will become effective when we stop using it as a substitute for obedience."  Watchmen Nee said, “Pray and obey."

On May 31, 2009 the Lord visited Chuck Pierce and showed him  a map of every state in the nation with certain places God designated as “Freedom Outposts." At these outposts people will gather to be strengthened and rejuvenated as the glory of God is released. Texas was the only state outlined by God's glory, having a double portion of Freedom Outposts, numbering 16. Through Chuck the Lord has prophesied:

“Texas is surrounded by glory and chosen for the future of the land. In the next 6 months (5 months will be intense) God will wrap some things up then the glory cry will rise from us. There is a network that will act like a central structure to set the nation moving in a new way.  We will be like a fire brand in the nation." “The Outposts in Texas will network. Within 3 years our nation will depend on this kind of networking for God's glory. We will need to be at the right place at the right time; these are the meetings we NEED to attend. Each person is important – they are possible tipping points. Texas will be judged first, because we are called to go first. Texas is the frontlines – the watchmen for the nation. Texas will be like a fire brand in the nation. The Spirit will invade structures that you did not think could be invaded. The destiny of Texas must be pulled into the reality of our environment, to initiate destiny into the nation. Don't control it! Don't stop it! Texas will be a fire brand for this nation."

Prayer Leaders have divided Texas into 16 regions. East Texas responded to the word of the Lord on June 19 with 24/7 prayer covering Northeast Texas for 1 week; June 26 the Trinity River Region did the same. The Houston Region will be the 12th region to respond:

Eleven Counties encompassing the Birthplace Region of Texas have received an extraordinary invitation from the Lord to “Host His Presence".

In response to many requests, a prayer guide has been written to help decree the release of God's purpose into the state and nation.  The guide is based on a three-fold initiative – the seven institutions or mountains of our culture, the seven redemptive gifts in Romans 12:6-8 and the seven attributes of our glorious Lord Jesus as expressed by the Book of Revelation (available at ConnectTheGlory@NewHavenHOP.com).

On October 2 all 16 regions of Texas will gather in Austin, culminating the statewide response to God during the season of Tabernacles. Details can be found on www.txapn.org
